Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center has two dogs on site, Taylor and Acme who visit residents throughout the day. In addition, families are encouraged to bring in their pets as visitors for their loved ones. Weekly visitors also bring their pets for other residents to enjoy.

Please be advised for safety and liability purposes, we require a copy of the rabies and all recent up to date shots when bringing any pet into the facility.

The Humane Society of Hickory comes once a month with up to three dogs for a group of residents in our Main Day room as well as provide individual in-room visits.
